consistency across the field.

Core Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Own daily and weekly scheduling (minimum two-week lookahead)
- Ensure crews roll out prepared, on time, and informed
- Coordinate maintenance, fertilization, and installation work
- Verify job completion and quality standards
Crew & Equipment Readiness
- Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are stocked and maintained
- Manage yard inventory (blades, materials, consumables)
- Reduce downtime and last-minute scrambling
Systems & KPIs
- Own operational systems (LMN / CRM workflows)
- Track KPIs including schedule adherence, labor efficiency, and gross margin
- Identify issues early and implement corrective action
People & Leadership
- Support onboarding and training of new field staff
- Set expectations clearly and consistently
- Hold team members accountable respectfully and professionally

- Crews leave on time and prepared
- Schedules are reliable and realistic
- Equipment issues decrease
- Customer complaints decline
- Owner involvement in daily operations is minimal

Compensation
- Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually (based on experience)

This role exists to ensure that growth is supported by a skilled technician who understands turf health,
chemical application, and responsible property care.

Core Responsibilities
Daily Work
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides to residential and commercial properties
- Mix fertilizers and pesticides according to label and safety requirements
- Follow assigned routes and treatment schedules
- Accurately complete service records and application logs
Turf & Property Care
- Monitor turf conditions and identify issues such as weeds, disease, or nutrient deficiencies
- Treat every property with care and professionalism
- Communicate observations or concerns to management
Equipment & Safety
- Safely operate and maintain spray equipment and spreaders
- Follow all safety protocols and label instructions
- Maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment
What Success Looks Like
- Routes completed accurately and on schedule
- Consistent turf health improvements
- Minimal callbacks or application issues
- Safe handling of chemicals and equipment
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in lawn fertilization, weed control, or turf management (required)
- Strong understanding of chemical mixing and application procedures
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work independently and outdoors
DEC 3A License: Preferred, not required (we will support the right candidate in obtaining licensing)
Compensation & Growth
- Base Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually (based on experience)
- Performance-Based Growth: Increases tied to route efficiency, quality, and retention
- Upsell Commission: Earn additional income through approved service upgrades
