We are different in many ways. Please click this link to view our purpose & core values.

Our pricing depends on the specific services you require. We’ve created a dedicated pricing page where you can view our starting rates.

We’ve implemented a system to help clients budget easily. The total for all annual services is divided into eight equal monthly payments — the same amount each month unless a new service is added. Invoices are sent on the 25th of each month and are due on the 1st of the following month (for example, an invoice sent on March 25th is due on April 1st). If you’re a lawn care client (fertilizer and weed control) only, your invoice is sent and due on the day of service unless you’ve prepaid for the season.

We accept cash, check, credit, or debit card. Our secure payment system sends an email with a payment link, and you can also save a card on file for autopay.

We service multiple areas depending on the service type. Visit our service area page or call our office at 631-485-7885 to confirm.

Residential lawns are serviced on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. We come on the same day each week unless weather conditions prevent it.

If our crew arrives and the lawn is too wet to mow safely, we will postpone service to avoid damage. Our office staff will contact you with an updated schedule.

Please contact our office at least 24 hours in advance so we can remove you from the schedule for that week.

Yes. Our billing system divides your total yearly service into equal monthly payments. Skipped weeks are still billed since extra work is required during the next visit.

We typically begin service within one week, depending on availability. A signed contract (and deposit, if required) must be received before services start.

Yes. The same crew services your property each week. Each crew includes a foreman who can address your questions or concerns.

During your on-site consultation, our staff takes detailed notes based on your preferences. These are recorded in our system and reviewed with the crew foreman to ensure accuracy.

Bed weeding is performed monthly, not as part of weekly lawn maintenance, unless otherwise arranged.

Weekly maintenance includes lawn cutting, edging/trimming (weed whacking), and blowing off all affected areas.

Yes. We recommend pruning twice per year. Our skilled crews perform this service at the proper seasonal times. Clients may also provide specific pruning instructions, which we record in our system for consistency.

MSG Lawn Care is a full-service lawn and landscape company. We offer residential, commercial, and specialty services, listed under the corresponding tabs on our website. We can also refer trusted contractors for services we don’t directly provide.

We generally mow at 3.5 inches, raising to 4 inches in summer to reduce turf stress. Before aeration and overseeding, we mow to 2–2.5 inches for better seed contact. We can accommodate custom heights upon request, though we recommend following our expert guidance.

Before applying any products, we perform a mandatory soil test to identify nutrient deficiencies. This ensures customized, effective treatment for your lawn.

If grass is still growing while leaves fall, we’ll mulch light leaf cover or move heavier debris to beds or perimeters for later collection. Our fall clean-up includes leaf and debris removal, annual plant removal, pruning, and a final lawn cut. Complete removal of all acorns and twigs may not be possible.

We begin leaf clean-ups from mid-November through mid-January, weather permitting. Some clients prefer two visits, one before Thanksgiving and another before Christmas.

Yes. We educate clients on proper watering and adjust irrigation three times per year to match seasonal needs. Adjustments start at $65 per visit.

Yes. We offer system start-ups in spring and blowouts in late fall (usually starting in November), depending on rainfall and temperature.

We repair sprinkler heads. For larger system repairs, we refer you to our licensed and insured irrigation partner to ensure quality and protection for all parties.

Yes. We provide a One-Year Limited Warranty on trees and shrubs we install, covering plant death due to improper installation. Clients are responsible for proper care and maintenance after installation. Labor for replacements and damages from weather or animals is not covered. Grass seed projects carry no warranty because we can not guarantee or confirm that the client is watering according to our recommendations.

Yes, we recommend annual aeration and overseeding to keep the soil oxygenated and replenish damaged turf. New York’s climate is tough on grass, so these treatments help maintain healthy, resilient lawns.

There is shared responsibility between MSG and the client. We guarantee proper installation, but successful growth depends on consistent watering and care. Acts of nature or neglect are not covered under warranty.

If your lawn has 60% or more weeds or poor grass types, we may recommend a full renovation. This involves removing the existing lawn and reseeding with high-quality varieties better suited to local conditions.

We strive to resolve any concerns promptly. Please contact us so we can resolve any issues.

  • End of Contract: Provide written notice (email, text, or call) if you wish to stop service at year-end. All contract payments must be fulfilled.
  • Mid-Contract Termination: If canceling early, all rendered services must be paid, and an early termination fee equal to one month’s payment will apply.
Monthly payments reflect a yearly service plan, not the exact work completed that month.
