Our services range in price based of what the client requires. We have put together a page dedicated to pricing. You can click here to view some of our starting prices.

We have implemented a system to help everyone be able to budget accordingly. We take the total for all your yearly services and split it up into
eight monthly payments thats the same price every month unless a service is added. These monthly invoices are sent out on the 25th of the month and due the 1st of the upcoming month (ex: invoice sent March 25th and due April 1st). If you are a lawn care (fertilizer and weed control) client only your invoice is sent and due the day of service completion unless you have prepaid for the season.

We accept cash, check, credit card or debit card. We have a very sophisticated program that sends an email with a secure link to be able to make online payments. You also have the ability to save card of file for autopay.

We service a number of areas depending on the service you looking to obtain. You can check our service area page or give our office a call at 631-485-7885.

We cut residential lawn Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We come the same day every week. Only way we don’t come on assigned day is if
weather doesn’t permit on one of our cutting days.

If crew arrives to the property and lawn is in a condition that will cause damage to property we will not service that day. We will have office staff reach out to inform when we will be back. We rather come back another day if it will ensure we’re not damaging our clients property.

You would have to reach out to office staff at least 24 hours ahead of time so we can take you off schedule.

Because we bill for all services on a monthly basis all services are split equally and if a service is skipped it is still billed the same every month. When we come the following week we have to cut double the grass so yes the skipped week is still required to be paid for.

In most cases we start within a week depending on the services required. We require that a contract is signed prior to any services starting. If the service require a deposit that is collected and then a start date is given.

Yes, every week the same crew will service your property. Also every crew has a foreman that you can communicate with if need be.

During your on site consultation MSG staff takes precise notes based off what client states. That is then verbally explained to field crew foreman’s and documented on the job work order in case reassurance is needed.

Bed weeding is done on a monthly schedule unless other agreements are made. It is not done with weekly lawn maintenance.

Weekly maintenance include lawn cutting, weed wacking of edges and blowing off of all areas effected by staff performing their duties.

Yes. We recommend pruning plant material at least two times throughout the year. We have dedicated knowledgeable crews that provide this
service. We only prune plants during the correct time of year unless otherwise instructed. We give every client the option to provide specific notes on how they would like their plant material pruned. These notes get entered into our system so everyone stays on the same page. The more information you give us the better service we can provide.

MSG Lawn Care is a full-service lawn care and landscape company. We offer a wide array of services that can make your property look amazing. We can also act as your liaison for other services such as referring to the right contractors that we have worked with for your type of needs. As a general rule, we try to mow all properties at 3.5”. In the hot summer conditions, we tend to raise the height of the cut to 4” to cause less stress on the turf plants. Prior to aeration and over seeding we will mow turf to 2”-2.5” so the seed has less canopy to fight to get established. We have several clients that have a preferred height and we can put that in the notes but we are the professionals and study turf so we know what the lawn needs.

Prior to MSG Lawn Care putting any products on your turf we will do a mandatory soil test. This soil test is like going to the doctor, the doctor has
to do blood work to know exactly what is going on prior to giving you any medicine. So the same applies to the soil, we need to know exactly where the deficiencies are. You can click this link to read more about soil test.

There are often times when the grass is still growing but some leaves start to fall. In this situation, we either just cut them up or if there is a good
amount we blow them to a bed or to the outer perimeter for later collection during leaf season. Our fall clean ups include leaf removal, lawn debris
removal, annual plant removal from beds, perennial plant/shrubs prunning and final lawn cut. We try our best to get as many acorns and twigs as
possible but removing everyone is not possible.

We start leaf clean up second week of November – Mid January weather permitting. Some time clients like to split their service into two visits (one before thanksgiving and one before Christmas). We try to cater to all clients schedules were applicable.

Thinking you can set and forget the amount of time on your irrigation system is going to lead to poor results. In general, we try to educate our clients on how to water as you spend more time on your property than we ever will. The lawn requires more water during certain season and less during other seasons. So we come out three times a year to alter irrigation schedule. Proper irrigation also helps to fight fungus in lawn and on plants. We can provide services where we adjust your system throughout
the season, prices start at $65 per visit.

We do offer a service were we turn on the system and set the schedule prior to needing to run it so your prepared when weather gets warm. We do blowouts at the end of the season based off rain fall and temperatures. These blow outs generally start in November.

We will repair sprinkler heads but if there is anything more that needs to be repaired we recommend the sprinkler company we work with being they’re licensed and insured. This way if anything goes wrong all parties are covered. We like to protect the best interest of our clients.

There is a SHARED RESPONSIBILITY for the health of the trees or shrubs that are installed on your property. MSG Lawn Care will ensure we select
the best possible plant material available and install plants according to industry standards. The client’s responsibility starts once the plant is installed to ensure proper care and continuous oversight moving forward. All trees and shrubs installed by MSG come with a ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY from MSG on materials from the date of installation, this warranty covers the plant if death is due to improper installation. Any labor needed to replace dead plant material is not covered under this warranty and would be the responsibility of the client. Grass seed projects carry no warranty because MSG Lawn Care can not guarantee or confirm that client is watering according to our recommendations. Also acts of mother nature could wash seed away or seed could be eaten by wild life.

New York is one the hardest places to grow grass on the east coast. We have the high highs of the summer, the low lows of the winter and the great white snow. Most lawns in the area are a blend of fescue and blue grass. Our blend of seed has the highest quality varieties available and it shows in
the performance of the grass during high stress time. MSG Lawn Care recommends aeration yearly to open up the soil for oxygen, water and to give the seed great soil contact. MSG Lawn Care also recommend over seeding to help replenish the damaged turf.

There is a SHARED RESPONSIBILITY for the health of trees, shrubs and flowers that are installed on your property. MSG will ensure we select the best possible plant material available and install plants according to industry standards or above. The client’s responsibility starts once the plant
is installed to ensure proper care and continuous oversight moving forward. All trees and shrubs installed by MSG come with a ONE-YEAR LIMITED
WARRANTY from MSG. This is on materials from the date of installation subject to the limitations and conditions of this warranty. Any labor needed
to replace dead plant material is not covered under this warranty and would be the responsibility of the client. Since this is a SHARED RESPONSIBILITY, MSG will replace trees, shrubs and plants if MSG determines such material is totally dead within the one-year period from the date of installation, except MSG will only warranty and replace trees, shrubs and plants up to a value not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the total tree, shrub and plant material costs. If the total tree and shrub death of the project is over ten percent (10%), then there has clearly been an unforeseen environmental condition, acts of God, neglect, acts or omissions of others or animals, or lack of care or maintenance by the Client
to keep these living plants alive. This warranty excludes and does not cover perennial plants (not shrubs), grasses, annuals, or other plant materials.
Ultimately, it is the CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to provide necessary care for all plant material or sign up for plant health plan with MSG. IF concerns
arise, please contact MSG ASAP. Each tree, shrub and plant covered expressly by this One Year Limited Warranty, and eligible to be replaced
within the cost limits expressed above, will only be replaced one time, without further warranty on any replacement trees, shrubs, or plants which
is hereby expressly excluded. No trees or shrubs will be covered by the limited warranty if the project has not been paid for in full in accordance with this Agreement and any terms of sale or invoicing terms. Animal damage is not covered under this warranty.

MSG will deem a lawn unrepairable if the lawn has 60% or more of weeds or undesirable grass types. A lawn renovation includes the killing of the existing lawn completely. After lawn and weeds are dead MSG will then come in and perform the crucial steps needed to establish a high end lawn. Most lawns may struggle because the variety of grass present is
older and don’t have the newer genetics to deal with current environment. This is way MSG make sure we continue to be innovative and bring fourth
the best of the best.

We work very hard to ensure we meet all of our clients needs. The needs we don’t meet are mostly the ones we don’t know about. Please make us
aware of any concerns so we can get them taken care of ASAP. We want to ensure you have “Landscaping YOU are PROUD of!”

End of Contract: If you wish to conclude services at the end of the year contract then all that is needed is a written notice, email, text or phone call
letting us know that is your intention. All payments laid out in the contract will need to be met for the account to be closed.

Mid-contract Termination: If you wish to terminate the agreement prior to the end of the contract a few conditions need to be met. All services rendered on your property must be paid for in full. A final invoice will be sent that includes a detailed breakdown of the services provided over the current year of the agreement. In addition there will be an early termination fee in the amount of one months monthly payment detailed in the signed
agreement. Once these final invoice is paid the account will be closed.

NOTE: The monthly payment you pay is part of an overall contract where the total cost has been added together for the year and divided by 12 to get the monthly payments. The monthly payment DOES NOT directly account for what was done on your property that month. Some months we are contracted to do more work and others we are contracted to do less.
This is why we track all the services we provide so we can provide detailed breakdown if early termination is required.
